Dr. S Balasubramanyan stands as a prominent figure in the medical community, particularly renowned for his expertise as a General and Paediatric Surgeon. He laid the foundation of SBS Hospital where he currently serves as the Founder and Managing Director. Dr. Balasubramanyan embarked on his medical journey with an MBBS degree from Kilpauk Medical College in 1979, followed by an MS in General Surgery from the same institution in 1983. Further enhancing his skills, he pursued M.Ch in Paediatric Surgery from Madurai Medical College in 1987, and achieved F.R.C.S from Edinburgh in 1999. Dr. Balasubramanyan's commitment to advancing surgical care extends to his role as the Founder and Chairman of the Association of Surgeons, India Hosur & Krishnagiri – Branch. With a stellar reputation, he continues to serve as a Consultant General & Paediatric Surgeon at SBS Hospital, recognized as one of the finest in the country.
